Kebun Raya Bogor

               Kebun Raya Bogor is a botanical garden located in the city of Bogor, Indonesia. The breadth of reach 87 hektaree and has 15,000 kinds of collections of trees and plants.  Currently Kebun Raya Bogor were visited as a tourist spot, especially on Saturday and Sunday. Around Bogor botanical gardens scattered scientific centers of the Herbarium Bogoriense, Zoological Museum of Bogor, and library. On May 16, 2006, commemorating the year 189 Bogor botanical gardens (KRB), Embassy of Germany, together with the Indonesia Institute of Science (LIPI), inaugurated the Memorial Garden in the complex Reinwardt. A simple monument across the pond the Bogor Palace was inaugurated by the Chief LIPI Umar Jenie Miroslav and Germany's Ambassador to Indonesia, Joachim Broudr-Gr ger.  This anniversary also jazzed up with the events ' ASEAN-China Workshop on Management and Botanical Garden Plant Conservation.

                         In addition to China, this event is followed by the ASEAN member countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei Darussalam, the Philippines, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, and Viet Nam. The workshop was aimed at enhancing cooperation in the fields of plantations and the conservation of plants in ASEAN-China. The Summit anniversary commemorative event was marked by the planting of tree seedlings by ten ASEAN Environment Ministers are present within the framework of the ASEAN Environmental Year ' event ' in Indonesia. The show is a third time after the first in Brunei Darussalam in 2000 and the second in Cambodia in 2003. On June 1, 2006 at about 20.00-20.30 BST, as many as 124 trees in Bogor botanical gardens many of which are over 100 years old tumbles due to strong winds and storms.                          Up till now i never go there. I always wanted to go there. So i don’t know anything about Kebun Raya Bogor. When i want to go there,i have to canceled it for some reason. I hope i can go there someday. I want to see Kebun Raya Bogor with my own eyes. Maybe next week i’m going to kebun raya bogor.
